Universal Health Care

For Tony, passing universal health care is more than just good public policy - it's personal. When Tony's brother lost his job, he lost the health insurance that came with it. He was later diagnosed with a rare liver disorder and died at the age of 35. If he had health insurance, perhaps his illness would have been detected sooner and the outcome would have been different. In the Assembly, Tony will fight every single day until all Californians have access to quality, affordable health care. Tony currently oversees a health center for foster teens and youth emancipated from foster care in Alameda County.
