Local High-Wage Jobs
Tony has called for aggressive intervention to help families facing foreclosure stay in their homes. He is advocating for powerful incentives for major corporations to increase local hiring and help fund the job training and violence prevention programs that can make our residents safer and more economically secure. Tony established a technical assistance training program to aid minority and women business contractors, and developed a construction jobs-training program for low skilled adults in Richmond.
