Contra Costa Times Endorses Thurmond

The Contra Costa Times endorsed Tony Thurmond for the 14th Assembly District seat, saying "It's [his] community activism - not just talking the talk, but walking the walk - that prepared Thurmond well for the Richmond City Council and makes him a strong candidate for the state Assembly."

Thurmond has also received the endorsements of numerous elected leaders in the East Bay, including Congressman George Miller, State Senator Tom Torlakson and Assemblymembers Mark DeSaulnier and Sandré Swanson.
