Assembly Select Committee Chair Tony Thurmond to Host STEM Briefing With School District and Tech Companies

WHAT:

Assemblymember Tony Thurmond (D-Richmond) Chair of the California State Assembly Select Committee on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Education is holding a briefing in San Francisco about preparing children for a career in technology. San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) will make a presentation about their “Computer Science for All Students in SF” program, which reaches all students in SFUSD from pre-kindergarten to twelve grades.
